Asmara, Eritrea is a quite and calm city as usual. People are going about their business as ever before. The western media has exaggerated about what actually happened here on monday. There is no point in speculating about things that you have no information about.
There is neither a mutiny by renegade soldiers nor a military coup. Wishful thinking and reality are often on a collision terms. I live here and do not see any reason to feel agitated by the reports of the media.
Eritrean independence and liberation shall always be defended by its brave citizens. We Eritreans shall never give the west and Ethiopia a pretext to invade us in the name of the "protection of human rights" and democracy. Eritrea for Eritreans and Eritrean problems call Eritrean solution.
